My Journey to Healing

As a little girl visiting my grandparents in Hong Kong, I was surrounded by Traditional Chinese Medicine. My grandmother and both great-grandparents practiced as Chinese physicians, and their deep appreciation for natural healing shaped my understanding of wellbeing.

Born in Berlin and influenced by life across Europe and Asia, I developed a lifelong fascination with the human mind, emotional wellbeing, and the deeper causes of suffering. This led me to study psychology and later explore more integrative approaches to healing.

My own personal healing journey taught me something profound: when we meet life’s challenges with awareness, compassion, and the right support, struggle can become a doorway to growth and transformation.

Inspired by both ancient wisdom and modern therapeutic approaches, I became a certified aromatherapist and founded LY Aromatherapy in 2004.

Over the years, I further deepened my work through graduate studies in Buddhist Studies and Buddhist Counseling, integrating mindfulness, compassion-based practices, and holistic emotional support into my approach.

Today, I support women through stress, emotional overwhelm, hormonal shifts, and life transitions using a personalized blend of aromatherapy, mindfulness-based guidance, and holistic mind-body practices.

My intention is to create a space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and restore balance emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

In addition to private client work, I offer mindfulness, Buddhist-inspired, and aromatherapy workshops for wellness communities, organizations, and corporate settings.

In 2026, I relocated from Germany to the Boston area and continue supporting clients locally and internationally.

I am also currently writing my first book, 'The L.A.N.G.U.A.G.E. Method' - How Nutrition, Connection, and Emotional Awareness Shape a Child’s Development
